On the statistics page you will find a lot of useful information that not only gives you feedback on the e-mails you just sent, but can also inspire you about what to do better next time.
The statistics of an e-mail series are in many respects the same as the statistics of simple e-mail campaigns. The statistics for an e-mail series differ in that on the "Statistics" page you see a list of the individual parts, the e-mails that form the series, and the statistics are therefore evaluated for each part of the series separately.
Another difference is that the statistics for the individual parts are cumulative. Different groups of recipients can move through an e-mail series over time, so one part of the series is gradually sent several times. The statistics then show the results of all the sendings of a particular part cumulatively.
The "Overall overview" contains values gathered across all the sendings of an individual part. As already mentioned, these are therefore cumulative charts. What do you find in this overview and what do the individual items mean?
Sent
- The total number of unique recipients this e-mail was sent to.
Delivered
- The total number of unique recipients this e-mail was delivered to.
Not delivered
- The total number of unique recipients this e-mail was not delivered to. You will find their list, including the reason for non-delivery, in the lower part of this statistics page.
- The list of reasons for non-delivery can be found in the article "Reasons for undelivered e-mails".
Opened in total
- The total number of times this e-mail was opened. If one recipient opens this e-mail 10 times, the number 10 appears here.
Opened uniquely
- The total number of unique recipients who opened this e-mail. Every recipient is counted only once here, regardless of how many times they opened this e-mail. So if one recipient opens this e-mail 10 times, the number 1 appears here.
Not opened
- The total number of unique recipients who did not open your e-mail.
Clicks in total
- The total number of clicks on links in the e-mail. So if one recipient clicks once on each of the 5 links in one e-mail, the number 5 appears here.
Clicks uniquely
- The number of unique recipients who clicked at least once on any link in this e-mail. So if one recipient clicks once on each of the 5 links in one e-mail, the number 1 appears here. You will find the click statistics for individual links in the lower part of this statistics page.
Next, depending on the social media icons you chose, you will find statistics for each of them with the number of clicks.
- The number of unique recipients who clicked at least once on a particular social media icon.
Marked as SPAM
- The number of unique recipients who marked your e-mail as SPAM. You will find their list in the lower part of this statistics page.
Unsubscribed
- The number of unique recipients who unsubscribed using the link in the e-mail footer. You will again find their list in the lower part of this statistics page.
The development of the overall results over time then gradually shows not only the number of sent e-mails, but also the number of delivered e-mails, the number of opened e-mails, the number of clicks and other values. You can show or hide the individual lines in the chart by clicking their legend, that is their label below the chart.
Further down this statistics page you will find a lot of other data about the results of the campaign. There is the calculation of percentage values for deliverability, e-mail opens or clicks. There is also a list of names of the recipients who opened your e-mail, who did not open it, who clicked the links in the e-mails or unsubscribed from them.
The statistics of individual e-mails can also be exported to Excel, into a *.xlsx file. The file contains all the information on this page, arranged into individual sheets.
