Transactional e-mails are special e-mails used by automations in e-mail campaigns, active forms or online surveys. Whenever you want to send an e-mail through an automation, this transactional e-mail is exactly what you will need for it.
The way they are created is in many respects the same as creating simple e-mail campaigns. They only differ in 2 areas.
The first is that recipients are neither set nor picked in transactional e-mails. The recipients of transactional e-mails are picked according to the automation settings.
The second difference is their activation. Transactional e-mails are not sent, they are activated. On the Activation page, in the last section, you will find the Campaign activation section instead of Sending, and that is the last step in preparing a transactional e-mail. Once you activate the transactional e-mail, it is ready to be sent.
The settings and building the e-mail are then identical to a simple e-mail campaign.
