Why can't I delete all the selected contacts?

Security and delivery quality come first

We share one environment with all customers, and its security and reputation are the key to smooth, high quality e-mail delivery.

Just like in personal life, the rule here is that if you lose your reputation, you will do worse. You cannot do business without trust. You cannot deliver e-mails well without trust. If mail servers see us as an unreliable sender, they will treat the e-mails leaving Quanda accordingly.

We put a lot of effort into building and protecting the environment we all share. What exactly do we do?

  1. We approve every new registration manually.
  2. With every new customer we go through the source of their e-mail addresses, including all the legal aspects of personal data protection and its processing.
  3. We monitor sending and delivery quality regularly. If we find that a customer deviates significantly from the strict limits we have, we address it with that customer personally straight away.
  4. Poor sending quality over a longer period leads to suspension or cancellation of the customer account.

We cannot afford to process personal data coming from illegal activities, such as purchased databases, shared databases, databases harvested from the internet by machine and so on. Sending to such databases enormously increases the number of undelivered e-mails, the number of e-mails marked as SPAM and the number of blocked e-mails.

All these undelivered, blocked or SPAM-marked e-mails worsen the reputation of the whole environment and the reputation of every individual Quanda user. That then significantly affects e-mail delivery, which is what we care about first and foremost.

The option to bulk delete any contacts without control would significantly increase the risk of low quality databases getting into Quanda, worsening the overall reputation of the system and the delivery quality for all customers. In the end, the customers who manage their databases correctly, follow the legislation and only send e-mails to recipients they are allowed to send to would pay the price.

Which contacts can I delete?

The following contacts can be deleted:

  • any blacklisted contacts;
  • contacts nothing was ever sent to and that did not go through a form or a survey. Simply put, we have no relation recorded with that contact.

Which contacts can I not delete?

  • Unsubscribed contacts. We do not count these towards the total number of contacts set by your plan though, so it does not matter whether you have 10 or 100 unsubscribed contacts on your account, it does not affect your stored contact limit set by the plan.
  • Contacts with any relation recorded in Quanda.

If you have any questions about bulk deletion, please contact us on the phone number +420 605 163 892 or write to us at: support@onquanda.com
