Incorrect text display in an imported document

If the text in your import document displays incorrectly, try the following steps:

  1. Check in the source file whether the diacritics are fine. If not, it has to be corrected.

  2. If possible, choose the UTF 8 encoding when saving.

  3. If that is not possible, save the file as CSV with UTF 8 encoding and import it as CSV.

  4. If the existing CSV is saved with a different encoding, it can be converted to UTF 8:

    • open the CSV in Notepad (right-click the file icon, choose "Open with", choose "Notepad"),
    • do not change anything, just click "Save as", choose the UTF 8 encoding and save,
    • run the import from this CSV.
